Terrorists, the followers of Satan

The Worlds Worst Terrorist
2 Corinthians 10:3-6

We are in a war! We may not be carrying a weapon physically, but we are armed none the less. The battles that are being fought around the world are part of an ongoing spiritual war.

Everything that the terrorist régime stands for is evil. Jesus said to the evil of His day; (John 8:44) "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
The Bible says clearly in (2 Tim 1:7) “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” The primary purpose of terrorism is to strike fear in the hearts of others. They want to kill, steal, and destroy. (John 10:10) Their ultimate goal is to eliminate Christianity, Judaism, and the knowledge of the true and living God.

Hear the Words of God through a “Man” of God called by God. (II Cort. 11:3-4) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

I. Satan‘s Identity ! (John 10:10)

    1. Satan is a leader of the Terrorist, He is the father of all terrorism.

       A. Can you see the correlation between terrorism and what the Bible says

            about the devil.

       B. All terrorists are followers of Satan.

    2. Satan is a thief.

       A. He wants to steal our freedom in Jesus.

       B. He wants to steal our freedom to worship God or not to worship God.

       C. He wants to steal our freedom to live in security.

    3. Satan is a murder.

       A. He comes to “slaughter.”

       B. He wants to kill us physically.

       C. He wants to kill us mentally

       D. But most of all he wants to kill us spiritually.

    4. Satan is a liar. (John 8:44) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

       A. Not only do terrorists live a lie, but they try to convince others that their lie

           is right.

       B. Satan wants you to believe a lie!

II. Satan’s Weapons (II Pt. 2:1-3) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

    1. Satan’s weapons are of a spiritual nature.

       A. We must do battle in the spirit.

       B. We must pray for our leaders for our troops.

       C. We must plead the blood of Jesus. The battle is spiritual.

    2. Satan’s weapon is fear.

       A. He wants us to live in fear

       B. But hear the words of God in (II Tim. 1:7) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

    3. Satan’s weapon is deceit (II Jh. 1:7) For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

A But please read again (II Cort. 11:3-4)

III. Satan‘s Method of War (Rom 8:5-7) For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

    1. Satan wants to conquer our minds, our thoughts.

       A. But notice our defense. (II Cort. 10:5) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

    2. Satan wants to conquer our faith. (Rom. 1:17) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

    3. Satan wants us to compromise.

CONCLUSION

We must be men and women of God. We must be ruled by Godly thinking which will produce Godly attributes if we want to win the war against evil. Jesus said; John 16:33 ”These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world

Monkey trappers in North Africa have a clever method of catching their prey. A number of gourds are filled with nuts and firmly fastened to a branch of a tree. Each has a hole just large enough for the unwary monkey to stick his forepaw into it. When the hungry animal discovers this, he quickly grasps a handful of nuts, but the hole is too small for him to withdraw his clenched fist. And he doesn't have enough sense to open up his hand and let go in order to escape, so he is easily taken captive.

This is a picture of many Christians. The devil with his crafty devices tried to ensnare them. He appeals to the appetites of the flesh which can lead to their spiritual downfall. As long as they hold on to worldly bait, they cannot escape from Satan's trap. But he keeps on urging, "Don't let go! Enjoy the pleasure of your sin just a little bit longer!" So, listening to the tempter's alluring voice, they continue in their evil way.

Dear friend, are you caught up in sinful practices that are destroying your testimony and preventing you from growing in grace? Stop and think it over. Get out of Satan's trap now while you can.

Who are you following? Jesus or Satan? You will follow one or the other.
